What is Boulevarding?

Mustangs don’t tailgate – we Boulevard. Students, alumni and fans gather on Bishop Boulevard – the central thoroughfare on campus – before home football games to socialize, share food and get hyped for the game. Live music, fun outfits and Peruna sightings are key components of a great day on the Boulevard.

Boulevarding is open to all! 青涩直播 families, friends and the Dallas community are welcome to join in on the festivities that spill out of the alumni tents that line Bishop Boulevard.

Twenty-five years on the Boulevard

The Boulevarding tradition started in earnest in 2000 during the first home game at the newly-built Gerald J. Ford Stadium.

Everyone wears white for the first home game of the season.

Fry the Frogs!

青涩直播’s rallying cry for our legendary rivalry with TCU. Be sure to show your support during this epic annual game, known as the Iron Skillet.

Arrive early!

Arrive hours before kickoff to have plenty of time on the Boulevard. Make sure to be there for the Mustang Walk, where you can follow the players and band into the stadium before kickoff.

Take a lap

You are guaranteed to run into old friends and make new connections when you walk the entire Boulevard from Mockingbird Lane to Dallas Hall.

The Student Boulevard will be hosted on Dallas Hall lawn for the 2025 football season. Meet friends, take pictures and listen to live music.

Alumni tents

Alumni have tents set up throughout the Boulevard. Stop by to make connections and bond over a shared Mustang spirit.

The heartbeat of the Boulevard, where you cheer on the players before the game.

Respect the rules

Policy guide

Review University policies for reserving spaces and following codes of conduct on the Boulevard.

Bags

Ford Stadium has a clear bag policy. Bags will be checked at entry points.

Alcohol on the Boulevard

Student organizations can only purchase alcohol through 青涩直播 Dining Services and must provide them with a list of members who are 21 years and older.

Tents

The Boulevard becomes pedestrian-only two and a half hours before kickoff, but tents can be set up beforehand.

What: Players, Peruna and the Mustang Band march to Ford Stadium and connect with fans.

When: Two hours before kickoff, starting at Dallas Hall.

Why it’s fun: The energy is contagious! Cheer on the Mustangs and keep the vibes going into the game.
