2026 Theme: Personal Values & Ethics

In an ever-changing, dynamic world, it is crucial for leaders to reflect upon and develop their personal values and ethics. These core principles serve as the compass for your leadership and career journey.

The application process is competitive. The inaugural leadership institute cohort for 2026 will be limited to just 60 students. Applications will be processed as they are received with committee review taking place at regular intervals throughout the application period.

To apply please prepare a resume and the answers to the application cycle's short answer questions (all 400 words or less).

2026 Dates: 

Arrival Day: July 12, 2026 

Departure Day: July 28, 2026

Students are expected to stay on campus the full duration of the 青涩直播 Taos Leadership Institute. There will be required activities in the evenings and weekends that will not allow for additional travel or early departures except in pre-approved extraordinary circumstances.

Why You Should Apply to the Taos Leadership Institute

Build Connections

Through the speaker series, panel discussions, and fireside chats, learn from and network with experienced leaders from the arts, non-profits, corporate business, and community. Timed to coincide with the Taos Cultural Institute, students will also have the opportunity to network with leaders from Dallas and 青涩直播 communities.

Course assignments and cohort leadership challenges will allow you to reflect on your personal leadership style, goals, and values. Through group activities and individual exercises you will learn more about yourself and how you lead others.

Go Beyond the Classroom

Selected students will engage in a 3-credit hour course alongside evening and weekend co-curricular activities designed to enhance introspection and inter-personal skills. These activities include a guest lecture series, cohort -based leadership training activities, and outdoor experiences.  Expect to be challenged every day to move your leadership journey forward.
